There
is greater fulfilment
in the moment of NOW. To be in the present state of mind constantly is
empowering as you consciously build your tomorrows on the grounds of each
moment that you live. This awareness plays a crucial part in deciding your
tomorrows. Your life is based on the principle of “what you sow, so will you
reap.”
Those
who live in constant fear and dread about their future, are depriving
themselves of the magic of the Now. As they continue to live in their imaginary
world of fear and dread of tomorrows, they fail to experience the peace that is
in every living moment; they are transforming every moment of peace into fear
and terror, and so life for these ones is just one continuous existence of
misery and sorrow. Then, there are those who live in the past, and continue to
wallow in the painful memories, clinging to them and converting every peaceful
moment of the Now into pain and anguish. With that, they have blocked the
sunshine of the new tomorrows that bring with them new opportunities and hopes
of a brighter future. Their existence on Earth is thus a prolonged nightmare
where the ghosts of the painful memories haunt them consistently. It is a life
that is quite unreal and purposeless for the spiritual progress of the soul.
You
are ever looking for peace and happiness but know not where to find it. You
have hunted high and low doing things that the material world has to offer,
chasing your heartfelt desires and all that money can buy, yet deep within you
are restless. This is because peace is not out there in the world; it is here
and now. It is with you but you are too busy to notice it as you are ever on
the run, shuttling between your past and future, never in the NOW. It is only
when you are completely anchored in the moment of NOW, that you are really
living life to the fullest, and manifesting your tomorrows to fruition. Your
NOW is the only precious thing that you have, and which is real in every
sense. So avail of the precious moment – it is the only moment you have – the
eternal moment of NOW.
