The heart chakra is
the seat of emotions and feelings. It is here that the Holy Spirit dwells and
communicates with you. The divine three-fold flame of love, wisdom and power
burns in the secret chamber of the heart. This is one major centre through
which the pranic energy flows and enters through each of the other six major
chakras, and circulates throughout your entire being.
An open healthy heart
chakra expresses and extends much love and peace towards all. It allows the
pranic energy to flow through your being freely and thus your entire system is
benefitted with good health and well-being. Frustrations, fears and worries
impede the flow of this energy. These are the obstacles that block the vortex of
the chakra. The negative energies compel the chakra to close, and when this
happens the person deprives himself of the gift of love from God that is ever
pouring down upon him. He thus finds himself a refuge in the cover of darkness,
and chooses to make this as his comfort zone so that he is ever shielded from
the Light of God.
In such darkness he
can only experience sadness and depression. He is incapable of receiving or
giving love to everyone. Nothing appears pleasing and joyful to him. His
perception towards life is clouded with doubts, fears, suspicions and rancor.
Life no longer holds any interest for him as he develops a fatalistic attitude
towards his existence. Medication only helps in suppressing his torment; it
does not heal him. There is no remedy for this in the field of worldly science.
Medical treatment cannot help to open the chakras and bring Light into his
being. The relief that a person might get with medicines is only psychological
and temporary.
Spiritual healing
touches the core of the problem, and heals the subtle bodies wherein lies the
root of the affliction. To heal a person from depression, the healer has to
work upon the heart chakra so that it is capable of receiving the divine Light.
A healthy chakra appears like a flower in full bloom; it whirls and rotates
healthfully thus ensuring proper circulation of the pranic energy. Then, when
the body is filled with the Light, a person is able to enjoy inner peace and
joy despite his hardships. Life thus becomes meaningful to him, and life’s
challenges are met with greater optimism. Suddenly, he finds opportunities,
which once evaded him, come knocking at his door. Life suddenly becomes
exciting; he sees no reason now to go searching for peace and joy in the world
of materialism because the Light blazing in his heart provides him with all
that his soul has been languishing for, for such a long time. When the soul is
at rest, he experiences contentment, and with that he lives in a state of
perpetual peace and joy.
