Protecting Your Inner Child
Your inner child is the most neglected part of yourself. Your involvement in your life's battles is so engrossing that you are blinded towards the higher realities concerning the spirit.
Each time you resort to fear, anguish, sorrow and pain you are inflicting your child within with needless trauma. Your negative emotions and feeling are snuffing out the heart-light and causing a foreboding gloom within you.
The darkness envelops your inner child confining it to dwell in pathetic conditions. As a result the child within is scared and lonely, pining for a drop of light for comfort and peace. the pleas and cries of the inner child fall on deaf ears as you continue to serve your ego-self, which is veritably man's worst enemy.
It is time now that you turned your attention inwards and catered to the little child within, with love and care. Let go of your differences with the trammels of your daily life. Let not the outside situations mar the sunshine in your heart. As long as the inner child is unhappy, you will continue to feel restless at heart.

So, go within and find that little child sitting all huddled up in the darkest corner of your heart. Pick him up and nurture the little one with tender love and affection. Lead him out into the sunlit garden where bloom the fresh, sweet-scented flowers in an array of pretty colors; see him frolic with joy and delight among the beautiful flowers.
Illuminate up the chamber of your heart with the Light of unconditional Love, Peace and Happiness. The Light will provide solace to the child and make him feel warm and comforted.
Leave the door to your heart wide open to let in a continual stream of God's Light. The Light is the sustenance of the spirit. the Light is like a warm, cozy blanket wrapping the child with peace and love. See the child thriving healthfully in God's Light with greater peace and gladness.
Every shade of sadness and pain creates dark monstrous clouds that unsettles the inner child. Therefore, live with greater awareness and concern for the welfare of your inner child and strive to live with peace and love regardless of your outer circumstances.
After all, the health and happiness of your inner child is what ultimately matters the most. When the inner child is happy you experience greater health, peace and love deep within.
