When you address your prayers to God you must speak to
Him with one-pointed concentration and with love for your Father. Most of the
time prayers are simply a routine in man’s life – something, which he does
mechanically to finish off with, and to get along with other things of lesser
importance.
God is a universal life-force that pervades the very
air that you breathe. When you pray to this Force you are attuning your mind to
the Higher Mind – the Universal Mind. Then when you are connected to this
Higher Mind, you are bestowed upon with the divine energies that guide and
protect you in life against all negative energies and harms of the world. Mindless
prayers have no power; they are mere utterances, and it does nothing to protect man
from evil.
It is a good habit to keep in tune with the Universe,
not just when you pray, but at all times. Live the way God wants you to live,
and when you err in life, do not hesitate to ask God for forgiveness. Do not be
afraid to receive God’s Love for He loves you unconditionally. He is waiting to
welcome you with arms wide open.
